I was wondering what is your current job(s)? and How do you feel about it (them)? I guess im just curious to see what jobs people have Dont be shy please As for me i currently employed by my father, picking and selling Pussy Willows. Its quite the job and i like it most of the time. The hours can flex however i want them too, basicly But i usually end up working long and unusual hours sometimes, it can be exhausting. Not the most fullfilling but it aint bad, i like it for the most part

Currently, trade finance, but with an import/export background; modern languages degree. The job is OK for the most part (I have a micromanaging boss who can be difficult) but I am lucky to have picked it up after being made redundant from a better job and being unemployed for nine months (some of which was spent spending my redundancy package ) - the recession has hit pretty hard in the UK.

Web publishing/content management. My old job focused on accessibility/usability for government web sites, however, my new job (changed due to major boss conflict and home proximity) is hell boring. I'm trying to manage the boredom but I've just checked out the superannuation/retirement prospects and I'd have to be a complete moron not to take that into account. I'm yet to be diagnosed tho I could theoretically retire in 12 yrs! Aaaaaarrrghhhhh at the expense of not having a brain left Not a huge amount of education really. Went to college and didn't finish an IT certificate course.

Self employed gardener. Dropped out of uni 3 months before graduation. I like the job - it pays well and is as flexible as I make it really, but it's really lonely working alone all day. I don't much like the book keeping either, but it's just a small part. Really, if I was working with someone all day everyday then it would be an excellent job

I work for a large corporation in an analytical lab doing Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) on computer chips. I have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. I feel horrible in my job and in this company and have for a long time. My current target for departure is April 2011 at which point I plan to be self-employed as an acupressurist (Jin Shin Jyutsu healing art).

I work in a Bar and Restaurant, but I mostly do wait/table service. The most difficult part of the job for me is interacting with customers. With that aside, I do enjoy working with Staff that are present on my shifts and there is always work to be done. Not much is worse than being at work bored!

I used to work in the retail industry then I had to change jobs because I couldn't sell. My boss flirted and was interpersonal or something with the customers to sell...I couldn't do either. And he was really good at it, I think ESTP's are good at being salespeople. I am now starting another retail job, that my new boss thinks might attract the female demographic and stop the worker cattiness because of my charms, the hell she knows. T_T
Formerly admin and delivery and looking for more commensurate of ability, I applied for government jobs, did the tests and made my resume good to go. In the mean time am in training to try civil structural amidst it all, although ultimately I just want to be involved in alternative health and education, yes a motivational speaker sounds sweet.

I'm a guitar/keyboard instructor at a community recreation center. It's neat! Only issue is, I have to give my two-weeks notice soon, because I'm moving further east in-state for college. 8( Speaking of, I still have job-hunting to do over there...

I do software development / computer programming for a smaller-sized cable/telecommunications consulting company. I have a Bachelor of Computer Science, and did various contracts before getting this job. I find it rewarding and usually interesting. I love being creative and "sculpting code" is a natural interest of mine. I was inspired by the first program I wrote, which was a lissajous figure generator -- a graphics program. To this day, my favourite programming is graphical and/or GUI. This interest is related to my love/enjoyment of creating digital art. My current job is pretty good; I am good at it and the hours can be flexible when needed, though they are usually 9 to 5. I've found Yoga/meditation necessary and beneficial to manage the stress of sitting at a desk/computer and thinking/typing for most of the day.

i'm at a non-profit, running numbers in SQL and making reports in Visual Studio. i pretty much solve logic puzzles all day. i can't complain. it pays the bills mostly but the cost of living is super expensive here. i might have to go back to the corporate world or move in the next two years. to get this job i lucked into a database reporting position at a failing corporation. i didn't have any experience but i'm good with computers and they took a chance on me. i have an english degree with a writing emphasis. at my current rate, my book will be forthcoming in 2086.

It can be nice to have flexible hours I have a basic 9-5 office job as a File Clerk in a small law firm. I've had the job since I started college, but changed to full-time after I graduated with a BA in English. I like that everyone mostly leaves me alone, and I can work at my own pace. I also have health insurance, which is important. I don't like that it's dull, although at least it's not stressful. It's not a high paying job of course, so I'm still living with my parents to save money, but soon I'll be moving out with friends. Then, hopefully I can find a job teaching English abroad. If not, then time to go back to school.

I'm a web developer programming in C#. I work for a fairly large company doing programming their customer service application. I like the job because of the creative problem solving that's involved.
However, I'll end up moving on eventually. Before programming, I worked as a web designer learning how to program. Before that I was an administrative assistant learning how to web design. I've always know that one career isn't going to allow me to grow the way I want.
All my skills are self-taught. It took 4 years to learn web design and 4 years to learn how to program.

Currently, I'm tutoring a first-year English course at a university: I teach people how to write essays. I teach three two-hour workshops, and work about ten hours per week, although every few weeks there's an essay to mark, and this brings me up to full-time for a couple of weeks. I've got mixed feelings about the job: - The pay is lousy, which is the main reason I'm not going to carry on after the end of the semester.
- I sometimes dread having to teach a class - but I usually enjoy it once I get started.
- Marking assignments is pretty awful because I get paid for half an hour per assignment, and they take at least an hour each; I wouldn't mind it otherwise.
- I like helping people one-on-one - especially by email, which gives me time to think of good stuff to say.
