Right now I'm reading "At home: The History of private life." by Bill Bryson but I'm all but done with that now. (Next on the list is all the douglas adams stuff.) So far I can say that from this book I've learned more history than all of my schooling combined. Not sure if that's a statement about the book or about the school system in america >_<.

when the hurricane was supposed to hit the east coast, i went out and bought a kindle so i'd have something to do if the power went out. i have been reading so much on my kindle! currently it's
- dragonquest by anne mccaffrey
- sailor on the sea of fate - elric 2 by michael moorcock
- the shipping news by annie proulx
- the sun also rises by hemingway
- linda goodman's love signs
- the elegant universe by brian greene
(i don't feel that m/string theory is correct, just a stepping stone model to the next paradigm)
i've named my kindle Mnemosyne. she was the mother of the muses. her name means "memory". i chose that because she remembers all the stories.
