Hello fellow idealists! Nice to be surrounded by a bunch of like-minded people. Hoping to connect with a few of you and perhaps delve further into this wonderful journey we are on. I've kind of let my introverted feelings get the best of me lately (mainly being my extreme sensitivity) and I am really looking for some support to regain the balance in my life. Things have seemed a bit off for a while, so my curiosity led me to look further into my personality type. I am living the life I have always dreamed of, however, a piece feels like it's missing. It is really putting a strain on my relationship with my husband. We just had a child recently and I feel it is very important let me be me again and find my way back to my true essence of being. Thanks for reading, will see ya in the forums!
Excited for discovering this site. -Rachael

Welcome Rachael. Do you know if you're a Highly Sensitive Person, or were you more talking about your reactions to people's words or attitudes when you said you were extremely sensitive? I hope you find your support here and congratulations on recently having a child! It's a tough task, no doubt about it, and I can imagine an INFP would need a bit of 'off' time to recharge from looking after a little inquisitive person.

Hi Rachael! I'm curious - through which modes of expression do you usually find emotional release/relief? Do you keep a journal? Some of us here write poetry or fiction. Others are musicians and artists. Others are gifted at conversation. Whichever way(s) you may choose to express yourself, you are likely to find someone on the forum who will be relate with you - as I have, and for which reason, I've stayed on this forum for almost two years. So welcome, and I do hope you find your stay on this forum meaningful and enjoyable. Take care.
