Hi good people of this fine verse

I am TooFarGone, I consider this handle appropriate for me, because in many ways I am too far gone from the norm of society. I am an introverted in the Jungian sense (my psychic energy is withdrawn and directed inward), I am not sure if I am an S or an N, I would say I fall somewhere in between, my T and F are also 50-50 and I am definitely a P. I have a keen interest in psychology, particularly Jungian psychology, I also enjoy reading philosophical topics that concern freedom, culture, ethics, morals, human nature, the individual and society, fate of humanity etc. I have a desire to do something significant with my life and do my part for humanity and live the life I was meant for, to be the tree I was planted to be.

By day I am a software developer, by night I am yet undefined. I am still struggling to find a fulfilling calling and direction for my life.

hi TFG. i like your tarot icon. two of the things the hermit represents are introspection and analysis. the tarot is filled with great archetypes.

The solution is obvious:

Spoiler:
Become a costumed superhero!

Hey again, TooFarGone. :)

I also like your tarot avatar, and it's good to have you on board (pun slightly intended :-D).

Hello fellow software developer. :waves:

I'm not into tarot, but tarot seems to be "into" me in an inexplicably inescapable way. The other day, I was at a bookstore and I picked up a book on dreams and archetypes, and the leaves opened on the chapter on the hermit archetype. The book said that when the hermit archetype shows up, you are being called to reflect on your search for wisdom, guidance and perseverance on your life's journey. :?: A (psychic) classmate who asked me to cut the cards also revealed the hermit archetype in my spread. And then at some point after college, I actually did become a bit of a hermit. :-D And then at a recent cutting done just for fun, the hermit archetype showed up again in relation to a good friend :teddyheart of mine. At any rate, my being a quasi-hermit did help me find my calling and still helps me find direction in the maze of life. :nods:

Hi from Australia (aka OZ)! I've made it to 48 without determining a calling or direction in my life, unless >handwave< 'over that way' counts? Doing the next thing may not have rocketed me to the height of stardom or earnings, but it's a damned lot of fun!
