I can believe that. Does that mean you don't anymore? ;)

I've never been religious, or a believer, so I suppose in that sense my "belief" has actually increased.

Ultimately I'm self-righteous, really. 0:)

Nowadays I'm mostly irked by extremes and dogmatism. The squishy middle is pretty comfortable, though.

I know what you mean. I'm uncomfortable around people who know it all, or know there there is nothing to be known. I'm comfortable knowing there is a lot I will never know. Few people share that comfort.

Only the best of minds, brother.

Atheist. I just personally find that things like physics and philosophy provide a very elegant and beauty-filled explanation of life. And there's always something new to learn.

I've finally settled on Pantheism, as that covers my feelings on how the universe relates to each other.

I like to think we're all part of a greater whole, but I don't believe in a specific God. I wouldn't say that I am anti-theist, but I do find most major religions to be somewhat objectionable at times.

I am what you would call a "Mystic in Chirst" or "Christian Mystic." Churches are not really my thing as there is too much dogma and not enough God.

Around the end of high school, my family stopped going to church because of an unnerving experience in which the bishop of our area intended to indoctrinate us (telling us to support the so-called "War on Terror," etc.). A good friend of mine at the time was an outspoken atheist, and, for the first time, I began to listen to her arguments without taking offense. I then realized that maybe religion (especially organized religion) might be doing me more harm than good and opted out of it permanently. So I suppose I fit the bill for "New Secularist," a somewhat similar vein to Existentialism.

Yes! A thousand times this. I love the way you worded your comment. :nods:

It's so important to subscribe to a view that's always changing, such as philosophy or science, rather than a set religion, which is fixed and not bound to change very much (if at all).

Change means continued growth of knowledge.

I consider myself an agnostic atheist, which for me basically boils down to "There might be something there, or there might not, but there probably isn't. Either way, it doesn't change how I choose to live my life."

As something of an update, further research suggests that 'Naturalistic Pantheism' (with a healthy dollop of agnosticism) probably best fits my current point of view. :)

I'm agnostic leaning *strongly* towards atheism. But I voted agnostic. I used to be a deist till about 19, then, I had some more or less traumatic events that lead to me thinking the whole God-idea through.

I'm glad to see that INFPs are often agnostic, too. I was afraid our type would be very religious.
