Well, hello everyone,
This is pretty cool. It's pretty amazing to see so many people so similar to me here. It's funny that everyone here seems to have the same opinion that they always felt different. I guess we were!
Anyways, my name is Shem. I like muffins. And muffins like me. Until I eat them. :-P. Yum.

Was the muffin man more like a muffin, or more like a man? If the former, he doesn't live on Drury Lane any more...

Hello ;D!

Thank you for creating this page by the way. I will try to introduce myself now ... SOMEHOW.

I am Rina, I am 27 years old (old ... :ghost ), I live in Germany, I have taken the MBTI online several times, and I almost always got INFP as the result (I got INFJ once, but still I feel INFP suits me way better). There are so many things I love, and I try only to focus on those things that I love ... :) Music is very important to me, so is being creative, spending time with my loved ones, reading, learning languages, traveling, and dreaming (anywhere and anyhow :D - I admit it!). I also like the paranormal and esoteric. And writing ...

Have a nice day, and ask if there is something you would like to know.

27? Old? Why, you're barely out of nappies. ^^P

A wise choice. :nods:

Hi Rina. Did you used to post on infpglobalchatter and if so who were you on there if you don't mind me asking? Your name seems familiar somehow :)

Hi Rina! You sound fantastic! And you look even younger than 27, IMO. Welcome! >^..^<

Hehe, thank you @ Detective Creative :)!! I always think I am "old" compared to others, but I am glad if others disagree :D. That was not my choice in the beginning; I used to focus on so many things that don*t really need my "energy" *blah*. Now I don*t waste the latter anymore :D.

@ Pipster : Yes I was. And I really, really missed this site a lot and now I am feeling more than welcome here ... I don*t remember my user name there anymore, but it should have been something similar. :D

And @ crystaluniverse : That is because the picture was taken in 2006 ;D. But thank you for your nice comment :).

THANK YOU ALL!! ^^

Belated welcome, Rina. :)

Regarding feeling 'old', I know the feeling! I couldn't wait to hit my 30s, because I felt like I was growing into my age, if that makes sense...

It does make sense. :) I however really like the saying "One is just as old as he/she feels." So I must be in the middle of a seesaw (?) where on side is pointing towards the "YOU ARE TOTALLY CHILDISH!" direction and the other one is pointing towards the "YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY BE LESS SERIOUS!!" direction.

By the way, I guess you hear this quite often, but your icon is not just made of love, it is love! :) It reminds me of the Lion King, even though I guess it wasn*t taken from there ... *sigh* But it really is nice. :)

Hey i;m sean i'm 17 and from Nz and i'm incredebly pissed off because i just spend half an hour writing this up but accidently clsoed this tab.
I like playing guitar, gaming, writing my mind, drawing and making bows. I get really irrational when i am angry but luckily thats not very often. I will write up more when i feel like it...

EDIT: Ok now. I am in the mood.

I can honestly say i am a decent guitarist. I'm not horrible. I could never play properly in front of an audience though. I used to take guiatar lessons during school but they were only 20 minutes long and during the middle of classes do by the time time i started to get going it was time to finish. They were always pretty expensive i reckon. I think i was like 15 dollars for 20 minutes. Even though i wasnt paying for them myself i wanted to give my parent a break seeing as i kept my guitar playing skills to myself and it seemd a little selfish. So yea i';m not a performer and i prefer to play either in my bedroom or out in the backyard when the weather is good. I find that i prefere playing guitar in hte summer. The weathers better and its the end of year, no exams or school or anything on my mind.

I never listened to music before i picked up the guitar at the age of about 14. It changes every now and then but at hte moment i'm into the foo fighters and nirvana mostly. I am open minded when listening to music and i'm not one to critisize music. I hate it when people critisize other genres like rap or metal or pop. I may not listen to it but i sometimesms think they hate it just so they can appear to be 'non conformist'.
i like honest people. I sit next to this guy in english who sees himself as non mainsteam. You can see right through it. I remember the time there was this small activity and part of it involved coloured paper. There was orange and yellow. At first he was like "choose yellow becasue no one is using it". Then someone else started using yellow paper. Then he was like "oh na use orange paper, everyones using yellow now, its too mainstream". I hate it when people try to stick out from the rest just so they can stand out. In my opinion, theres no such thing as a person who lives a true non mainstream life. I choose to do things because i feel like it and sometimes that happens to be agaist the majority. But i'm also equally likely to choose the same as everybody else. It you are choosing something solely so you can be different from everybody else then you are conforming to non mainstream standards and it sort of defeats the purpose of it.

I find writing fun. Though most people i know wouldnt think so. My weakest subject is english. But i happen to love writing though can change massively depending on what i'm writing about. I have this book which i will write stuff which is in my head and sometimes i will sit there for an hour and write 4 or 5 pages worth of stuff. Though when writing an essay i can sit there for an hour and struggle to write a page. I dont like structure in my writing. I happen to jump from one though to the next.

Gaming. Well all i can say is that it is the number 1 consumer of time aside from sleeping. Time flys fast sometimes..

Bows. Yea thats something from my childhood. I jsut took it really far. thats not my only child like amibtions i have taken too far. One of them was making a house out of mud, another to make a medieval helmet out of metal and the other to make a real bow.
Mud bricks. I actually did this back in 2009. End of year in summer. Just finished school for the year and it was hot and i had nothing to do. I spent hours doing backbreaking digging in the front yard for that rich clay soil. I remember being able to stand in a hold up to my chest. I gathered it in the garage and then started making mud and putting it into molds.
Eventually getting a decent ammount of bricks. I went on to build a mud brick wall. I happened to get strange responses from my friends who though i had too much spare time.
I made a 'great helm' from some steel we had from the sleepout and nails as rivets. I brought it too school one day for this run. it was pretyt cool. Nobody knew i was under the helmet and they were fascinated about how i had made it.
And finally bows. Still something in the works. You have to be prepared to make a few befoer you get anything decent. I ran out of wood so i decided to make a tree plantation. Though i have one shortbow which is the best working out of them.

Drawing. Yea was never the best but always keen on it. i could write a massive paragraph on this but i'll save it for later. Probably going to study architecture next year.

Although i hate meeting new people i also want to be around people. Its strange. I like to cycle to school because it gives you some sort of independence and you get to be alone. You travel at a slower pace and can see things in more detail. Though i also like taking public transort becasue you see new faces. Its interesting to see different people. Sometimes you meet some interesting people. I once had this experience where i got onto the bus and sat next to this girl who reminded me of myself. Maybe it was just my mind making me believe all of it.

I sometimes feel as if i have just gone straight past things. i've grown up and missed out of things that maybe i should have experienced. 17, no drivers licence, no job, i dont go drinking every weekend, never had a relationship. I've never really felt the need to do any of these things but sometimes i wonder if i have missed out.

I am also very open on the internet for some reason.

Hey Voodo Chile, and welcome. Your life sounds like it's been very interesting so far. I don't know anyone else who can make mud bricks, helmets and bows!

Hello all: :)

I just joined last week. (This is the first forum I have ever joined.) I am a truck driver and looking to go back to school to finish a bachelor's degree soon in art and photography. (Online schools are great, aren't they?) Have been doing alot of depth work for the last 5 years. Learning alot about myself and others and the world around me. Has been difficult at times, but also very rewarding. I also do photography as a serious hobby. I like alot of different kinds of music and movies. How did everyone like the new X-men movie? I thought it was great. Dealt with some good human issues. Well, "howdy" from texas. :)

Hey Dave, and welcome again. :)

If you'd like, we have a photography thread in our art forum, where you can post your photos.
art-f15.html

I liked the new X-men movie. When I read a review of it afterwards, the review mentioned that the running theme behind the X-men series is self-acceptance, which parallels a lot of INFP journeys. I LOVED Professor X in his coaching/encouraging role in this movie! Also, it was interesting to see Magneto's story. Though I knew how it would end, I still hoped they might get through to him. I also loved Hugh Jackman's cameo. :D

Glad to have you here!

Welcome Dave. Photography is great, I try to take some scenery-shots myself when I am out hiking, althought I could need some tips and tricks as I am quite the amateur.

Welcome Sean. You seem to have alot going on in your life. And don't worry, your not missing out on anything. Just do what you feel the need to do :)

Hello All- Like Rina, I had taken the MBTI several times and gotten a mix of INFP or INFJ, but INFP really describes me much better after reading the numerous descriptions.

Bit about me- I was raised on an island in Maine, then college in Vermont and spent my twenties living in NYC. I moved to San Francisco lat October (after visiting here for a couple of days, I knew it was where I wanted to live). I'm 31 and I've mostly worked office tech jobs, most recently at a startup that didn't end up so well.. currently unemployed and realizing I should be chasing some other employment than being an office drone. Writing or video editing strike me as good paths, and I'm just trying to figure those out right now.

I enjoy cycling a lot, and thanks to my girlfriend I am discovering the wonderful world of cooking and fine dining. I also maintain a tumblr account about my time in New York: ifthiswasny.tumblr.com. (yes, I know that is grammatically incorrect!)

Really glad to see there is a community of people out here, and looking forward to posting and reading what is here.
