(This one's not mine and it doesn't exactly fit this thread, but I like it) Pomerania: where Pomeranians originated. :nods:

Metaphwoar - a particularly compelling metaphor that induces a sense of awe or a spontaneous epiphany in the reader/listener.

On a side note, I totally came up with this RIGHT NOW and all the 2,290 results I get in a Google search are either figments of my imagination or spatio-temporal anomalies.

jounce (v.)

Origin:
1400–50; late Middle English; apparently blend of joll to bump (now obsolete) and bounce

Sheeple - sheep+people.

According to americansheeple.com:

Quote:
The orchestrated dumbing down of the brain dead, fluoride drinking, aspartame infected American people now and forever known as The American Sheeple.

Quote:
Affluenza, from affluence and influenza, is a term used by critics of capitalism and consumerism. Sources define it as follows:

affluenza, n. a painful, contagious, socially transmitted condition of overload, debt, anxiety and waste resulting from the dogged pursuit of more.[1]
affluenza, n. 1. The bloated, sluggish and unfulfilled feeling that results from efforts to keep up with the Joneses. 2. An epidemic of stress, overwork, waste and indebtedness caused by the pursuit of the American Dream. 3. An unsustainable addiction to economic growth.[2]

Bumplepost is a close relative of THREADSURRECTION

Oh man I just remembered this Eurovision band called Lordi. They're like all death metal in costumes and everything but singing the most cheesy christian-rock lyrics... they made an awesome portmanteau: the AROCKALYPSE hahaha. Found the video on youtube, so golden: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mh3hj9-J76Y

Here is a list of some of the portmanteaus that I created.

Some of these are a combination of different words, and others are real words that I have changed the spelling to.
In all cases, I have created the definition, but, the definition is always related to the words.

Subvirtuel- A state of suspended reality whereby the intrinsic duties of virtue are subverted and upended through the implementation of societal stigmas.

Vantasy- Vain fantasies

Psylenses- reverent, silent prayer-and-meditation time one spends alone and becomes capable of seeing the vision that God wants to reveal.

Philosphorescence- truth that teaches without harm to the psyche

Weathermetic- a characteristic whereby an individual is capable of gleaning secrets of ethereal beings by observing common weather patterns

Invertue- a characteristic whereas an individuals' ideals of right and wrong are intrinsically twisted into the polar opposite condition from the reality of truth

Peeramid- a metaphysical maze of matrixes that maintain and reveal the cause of truth, and only the wise can visualize it's ultimate design

Currentsea- a commodity whose value relies on thought processes that are wrong or misinformed, used by large groups of people that can't think for themselves as a defense mechanism against their inability to see or care about the truth.

Magile- capable of gracefully creating magic w/o being noticed

Parasight- a person that pretends to see the truth and feeds off of TRUE truth-seekers ideas to use with their own devious plans

Massochasm- a deficiency in spirit of masses of people caused by the humilation, and pain they were objected to at a young age whenever they spoke out of turn or had an individual opinion

Sectsyouall- categorically segregating people on the basis ofsimilar sexual fetish desires in order to weaken their tendency for true love and control any sincere, and good natures

Sewsheol- a state of being whereas persons feign integrity, honesty, trust and compassion during their interpersonal interactions in venues of civilized connections but are actually sadistic sociopaths who care about nothing more than their own personal gain no matter how they accomplish it

Sublimbolism ~ a system of sublimenal subversion through the use of symbols that interact with subconscious synapses

Abysstery- Deep mystery

Ammemotion- feelings used as a weapon

Inertainment: a form of amusement that incapacitates will
