This was the perfect remedy to the awful things I've been reading about Harry Harlow's surrogate cloth-mother experiments on monkeys...

I love bats. Where I used to live when I walked home from work in the autumn across a field it would be twilight, and a few bats would circle round me from one end of the field to the other. It was awesome :)
