Hi I was meltintalle @ globalchatter but didn't post much there; I mostly lurked. A little about me: I'm a digital painter/illustrator with an animation degree and also a new mommy  Anyway I'm curious - why was this forum made? Sick of GC? So, basically, no real changes can be made to the forum (no-one can be banned [not that they ever really need to be over there, but you never know], the stickied threads that are there can't be un-stickied and no new sticky's can be made either). So basically a whole bunch of basic maintenance and forum improvement tasks can't be carried out, and there's no way to know how long the forum is going to last because (as far as I know) no-one knows how it's being paid for and if anything happened to the site there'd be no way of getting it back up and running because Kara is the only one that can do it. (And congrats on becoming a mum. )
