Best: The bicycle
Worst: Television
You know, "the best thing since sliced bread". Which means that, one point in time, sliced bread was considered technologically advanced. Good choice with the bicycle. Television is a tough one. If television programming were to suddenly disappear, I probably wouldn't be too upset, but I do like movies, and I like being able to watch what I want when I want to watch it in the comfort of my home. On the other hand, without televisions maybe I'd go into theatres more often, and maybe theatre going would become more of an event again (movies, not plays), rather than the way it seems to be slowly dieing out. So, I'd probably be OK without televisions, and, heck, I can imagine my life would be better without 'em. OK, I talked myself into agreeing with your television choice. Good call.
